History, HASS and the 2017 Western Australian Curriculum

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority has been developing a revised Curriculum for Western Australian schools, and is also revising Achievement Standards.  HTAWA was not consulted during the development of the curriculum or achievement standards instead SCSA has worked with a team of selected teachers.

HTAWA cannot endorse the proposed changes as we have had insufficient time with the documents to do so.

Correspondence between HTAWA and SCSA is available in our Members section.

Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment briefings

HTAWA encourages its members to attend the briefings conducting by SCSA on the proposed Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment.  This event is for Principals and Deputies.
